Subscription & Billing Terms
Plan, renewal, cancellation, and payment terms for Sports Global Pro and related billing operations.

SPORTS GLOBAL – SUBSCRIPTION & BILLING TERMS
These Subscription & Billing Terms (“Billing Terms”) apply to paid subscriptions and paid features offered by Sports Global (Pty) Ltd (“Sports Global”, “we”, “us”) on the Sports Global Platform (the “Platform”).
These Billing Terms form part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
1) Who these terms apply to
These Billing Terms apply to:
individual users (where we offer individual subscriptions), and
league or business customers (where we offer subscriptions or paid plans online),
unless a separate written agreement applies (in which case that agreement controls).
2) Plans, pricing, and taxes
Available plans, features, and pricing are shown on the Platform at the time you subscribe.
We may change pricing and plan features from time to time. Any changes will apply prospectively, and we will take reasonable steps to notify you where required.
Prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes depending on your location and the offering. Any taxes will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
3) Free trial (14 days)
If a free trial is offered, the following applies:
The free trial lasts 14 days unless stated otherwise at checkout.
A valid payment method may be required to start the trial.
You can cancel anytime during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the subscription fee for the next billing period at the end of the trial.
We may send trial reminders (for example, near the end of the trial) as a service communication.
Trial eligibility: We may limit trials to new customers/accounts and may refuse or cancel a trial if we reasonably believe it is being abused (e.g., repeated trial creation).
4) Billing cycle and auto-renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) as shown at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Your renewal date and billing history may be visible in your account settings and/or Stripe receipts.
5) Cancellation (simple and fair)
You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings (where available) or by contacting support@sportsglobal.eu.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
This means:
you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the current paid period, and
you will not be charged again unless you re-subscribe.
6) Refunds
6.1 General rule
To the fullest extent permitted by law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgrades, or unused features.
6.2 Exceptions (when we may refund)
We may consider refunds or credits in limited cases, such as:
duplicate charges,
billing errors,
unauthorized transactions (after reasonable investigation),
where required by applicable law.
6.3 Refund request window
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date unless applicable law requires a longer period.
To request a refund, contact support@sportsglobal.eu and include:
the email on the account,
the date and amount of the charge,
the reason for your request and any supporting information.
6.4 Effect of refunds
If we issue a refund or credit, we may:
immediately end access to the paid features tied to that refunded period, and/or
restrict further trial eligibility or require additional verification to prevent abuse.
7) Failed payments, disputes, and chargebacks
7.1 Failed payments
If a payment fails:
Stripe and/or Sports Global may retry the payment method.
We may suspend or limit access to paid features until payment is resolved.
If payment remains unresolved, we may cancel the subscription.
7.2 Chargebacks and disputes
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute:
we may suspend or terminate access to paid features while the dispute is pending, and
you agree to provide information reasonably needed to investigate the dispute.
We reserve the right to recover costs associated with chargebacks where permitted by law.
8) Plan changes (upgrades/downgrades)
If plan changes are supported:
upgrades may take effect immediately and may be billed immediately or on a prorated basis (as shown at checkout),
downgrades typically take effect at the end of the billing period unless stated otherwise.
Where prorations are not supported, the Platform will display how changes take effect before you confirm.
9) Promotions and discount codes
Promotions or discount codes may be subject to additional terms, including:
eligibility restrictions,
time limits,
one-time use limits.
If you violate promotion terms, we may cancel the promotion and bill the standard price.
10) Account responsibility and misuse
You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account. You may not:
share access in a way that violates your plan limits,
attempt to bypass billing, trial limits, or subscription controls,
create multiple accounts to repeatedly access trials.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
11) Changes to these Billing Terms
We may update these Billing Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of paid services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Billing Terms.
