Standards for respectful participation in FanHub and community spaces across leagues, teams, and match threads.

Sports Global Community Guidelines
Sports Global is built for leagues and fans to enjoy sport, share opinions, and connect. These Community Guidelines apply anywhere you can interact on the Platform (including FanHub posts, comments, replies, reactions, messages, profiles, usernames, and uploads).
If you see content that breaks these rules, please report it in-app or email support@sportsglobal.eu.
1) Be respectful
We welcome strong opinions - we do not tolerate abuse.
Allowed:
Criticism of teams, tactics, refereeing decisions, and performances
Banter that stays respectful and does not target protected groups or individuals
Not allowed:
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats
Targeted personal attacks (especially repeated)
Encouraging others to dogpile or harass someone
2) No hate, discrimination, or incitement
Not allowed:
Hate speech or degrading content targeting someone based on race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics
Content that supports or praises extremist ideologies
Calls for violence or harm, or content that glorifies violence
3) Keep it safe and legal
Not allowed:
Instructions or encouragement for illegal activity
Content that promotes dangerous activities likely to cause real-world harm
Sharing illegal substances or controlled goods
Depictions of real-world violence or injury in a graphic way
4) Protect privacy and personal information
Not allowed:
Posting someone’s personal information without permission (“doxxing”), including phone numbers, addresses, IDs, private emails, bank details, or private messages
Sharing someone else’s location in real time
Posting content involving minors in a way that is exploitative, sexualized, or otherwise unsafe
If you believe a minor is at risk, report immediately.
5) No sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors
Not allowed:
Any sexual content involving minors (this includes jokes, “suggestive” content, or “age-play” content)
Sexual exploitation, coercion, or non-consensual sexual content
We will remove this content immediately and may report it where required.
6) No impersonation or deception
Not allowed:
Pretending to be another person, team official, league official, player, or staff member
Misleading others about your identity in a way that causes harm
Creating fake accounts to manipulate discussions or engagement
Parody is allowed only if it’s clearly not misleading and doesn’t target someone for harassment.
7) No spam, scams, or manipulation
Not allowed:
Spam, repetitive posting, mass mentions, engagement bait
Scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake giveaways, or fraudulent links
Coordinated manipulation (brigading, vote/reaction manipulation)
Unauthorised advertising or affiliate promotion
8) Copyright and content ownership
Only post content you have rights to share.
Not allowed:
Uploading copyrighted videos, broadcasts, or full match clips without permission
Reposting paid or licensed content in a way that infringes rights
If you believe your rights are being infringed, contact support@sportsglobal.eu.
9) Nudity and explicit content
We’re a sports platform first. Keep content appropriate for a broad audience.
Not allowed:
Pornographic or explicit sexual content
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Graphic nudity
Limited nudity in non-sexual contexts may be restricted and is reviewed case-by-case.
10) Sport integrity and abuse of officials
Not allowed:
Threats toward referees/officials, players, coaches, or staff
Coordinating real-world harassment
Attempts to influence match outcomes or promote match-fixing
11) Reporting and enforcement
We use a combination of user reports, automated signals, and moderator review.
If you break these rules, we may:
remove content,
restrict visibility (“limited distribution”),
issue warnings,
apply temporary limits (e.g., posting cooldowns),
temporarily suspend your account,
permanently ban your account.
Severe violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.
12) Repeat offenders
Accounts that repeatedly violate these Guidelines may face escalating penalties even if each individual incident is “minor.” We may also restrict accounts with unusually high report rates or suspicious behavior patterns while we review.
13) Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was incorrect, you can request a review by contacting support@sportsglobal.eu and including:
your account email/username,
the action you’re appealing,
why you believe it was incorrect,
any context or supporting information.
14) Updates
We may update these Guidelines as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be posted on the Platform.
